Blue Sky Optimum Energy, of Buffalo, NY offers a processing system that can produce wholesale Biodiesel at $1.10/gallon, comparable to current wholesale Diesel fuel prices of $1.10-1.30/gallon.  The lifecycle production of Biodiesel produces approximately 80% less carbon dioxides, almost a 100% less sulfur dioxide, and 70-90% less particulates compared to diesel.

Empire Biofuels, a farmers cooperative LLC that plans to build a 50 million gallons/year corn to ethanol facility in Romulus, N.Y.   The company is completing a business plan for the proposed ethanol plant with the help of a $100,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

RiverWright Energy The $85M RiverWright Energy project in Buffalo, NY will produce 110MGPY of ethanol using 40M bushels of corn. This leverages the existing infrastructure of a closed ConAgra flour milling plant, including rail and water transport (Buffalo River) and grain elevators with a capacity for 10M bushels of corn storage. This project will create a significant financial infusion into the community and the operating plant will employ approximately 60 people.
